A list of treatments we cover is available here. There are a number of specific exclusions and requirements that are detailed below. Full details of cover, limitations, terms and conditions can be found the Specimen Schedule and Wording.

• Advanced skin peeling, including epidermal or micro dermabrasion
• Botox
• Chemical treatment of any nature where the instructions from the manufacturer or the qualified and approved distributor have not been followed
• Damage to property from the application of tanning spray
• Eye treatments other than eyelash tinting or the application of cosmetic products
• Hypnotherapy
• Lasers or IPL for hair removal, skin repair/rejuvenation, Telangiectasia, or Acne
• Medical Treatments
• Mesotherapy
• Micropigmentation
• Products made up by the salon or to the salons specification
• Sclerotherapy
• Skin jetting
• Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection(s)
• Sunbeds, sunlamps, or solaria or use of equipment which emits UV rays for therapy or tanning purposes
• Tattooing or Tattoo removal
• Tooth whitening

To apply for this insurance you must be resident and work in the United Kingdom and are aged 16 years or more at the time the policy is due to start.

When you apply you will need to confirm to us that:

• You have not suffered any claims on this, or any other insurance policy for Hairdressers and/or Beauty Therapists in the past 5 years or since you started trading, whichever is the most recent.
• You do not have any convictions, criminal offences or prosecutions pending other than motor offences.
• You have never been declared bankrupt/insolvent, or the subject of bankruptcy proceedings.
• You have never had an insurance proposal refused or declined or ever had an insurance cancelled, renewal refused or had special terms imposed.
• You conduct treatments in accordance with best practice recommendations as prescribed by qualifications from a recognised UK training body, company or product manufacturer.
